How many times have you purchased an expensive tree or shrub imported from who knows where only to have it die two weeks after planting?  Most of us, even nurserymen, have had that experience.  At Native Roots Garden Center, we are changing that scenario by growing most of our trees and shrubs right in the Animas Valley just north of Durango.  We still have to purchase some plant material from our list of quality growers but even then, we strive to find the hardiest plant material from the nearest location possible.  At our north valley nursery, we are able to grow thousands of container trees and shrubs and bring them to you at Native Roots in prime condition and well acclimated to the environment in your landscape.  All of our trees and shrubs are grown pesticide free for our beautiful environment, your safety, and your peace of mind.  Please come in and see the difference locally grown makes.
