At Native Roots Garden Center, we grow most of what we sell so we know how our plants perform under the harsh Four Corners’ environment. This is not an easy area for gardening so you should start out with hardy, locally grown plant material like you find at Native Roots. All of our annuals, vegetables, and perennials are grown in Bayfield, Colorado and most of our container trees and shrubs are grown in the Animas Valley just north of Durango. We feel growing locally and choosing the right plants for your situation greatly increases the survivability and vigor of your landscape. Stop in and talk with our knowledgeable staff; you won’t get a sales pitch, just good information to help you succeed in gardening.
