Native Roots Garden Center has been helping people with their gardens and landscapes since 2004. Our experienced staff can help you select the right plants for your project from the thousands of varieties we carry, most of which we grow ourselves in Bayfield and Durango. We are a complete, year round garden center that prides itself on customer service and horticultural experience. Our staff has over 100 years of combined professional experience and we are dedicated to sharing that knowledge with our guests. Our goal is for you to have a successful gardening experience regardless of where you live or what your gardening skill level may be. We are here to provide you with quality, hardy plant material, gardening advice and support throughout the year.
Our Facility
Our greenhouses are filled with lush tropical plants in the fall and winter. In the spring, pesticide free annuals, vegetables, herbs, hanging baskets, and planters fill the greenhouses! Our nursery offers thousands of varieties of hardy perennials, native plants, vines, ornamental grasses, shrubs, and trees. Our garden shop has everything for the gardener including gloves, tools, seeds, fertilizers, pest control products, and landscaping supplies. We have a wonderful selection of gift items for your special gardener; books, fountains, wind chimes, unique solar lighting, and many other gardening related gifts. We also offer seasonal specialties such as live and cut Christmas trees, made to order wreaths, decorations and ornaments.
